“Clerks” Quick Stop market – Leonardo, NJ

“I’m not even supposed to be here today!!”

I was down in Red Bank, NJ over the weekend and took the opportunity to make a pilgrimage to the Quick Stop market from Kevin Smith‘s Clerks.  It’s one of my old-school favorites, the misadventures of Randal, Dante, Jay and Silent Bob crack me up.  No hockey on the roof today, or Jay out front scoping the scene.  And, sadly, it looks like Randal’s RST Video met the same fate as Blockbuster.  Either that or because he was constantly canceling memberships of customers he didn’t like…  a shocking abuse of authority.

Mike Knotts

Mike Knotts was born in 1968 in a small town in southern Indiana. Even when very young, Mike showed a love for all-things technical and sci-fi. Moving with his family to California in the early 80's, he eventually graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a degree in History. Rather than put that to good use, Mike continued to pursue his passion for technology by working for early, regional ISP's in the mid 1990's.     too bad there wasn’t enough people for a pickup game on the roof. Plus the orange ball is like, gone… he only brought the orange one.
